  11. I'd like to use sportster 14.4 Faxmodems for dial-ins but am having a
  12. problem. Often, my equipment requires a set speed all the time ( 9600,
  13. 19200, etc. ). Many hosts wont send a setup string to modem. I see how
  14. to lock DTE speed independent of link speed, but the modem seems to
  15. select 14400 as the locked speed. I can't see how to alter this. Does
  16. anyone know what I am missing? Thanks!
